Green 101: Cost, Quality & Supply

Each RPN Guide succinctly characterizes a product category’s Cost, Quality, and Supply, referencing surveys and studies where possible, answering the following questions:

• Cost – Can savings or additional costs be expected when procuring and using the recommended goods/services?
• Quality / Performance – Are responsible alternatives known to be of comparable quality and performance? Should new products be tested? Will there be user training required?
• Supply – How can purchasers find the recommended responsible goods and services? Are they widely available or difficult to find?
